French toast, decaf coffee, fried green tomatoes and chicken sausage. DELICIOUS! I even had a to go box. The cream for the coffee was superb. Ask them to warm the jelly compote, tasty but too cold for my hot French toast. Awesome service clean and pleasant. Get there early after 9am there is a line.
Staff was courteous and pleasant. Food was excellent. I had the catfish shrimp and grits. Never had sweet potato biscuits before but, man I suggest you check them out!!!
Great service... My server name was Nariel and she was amazing... Food is always good and consistent.. I had the meat lover omelette w/ grits and toast. Good R&B playlist playing this morning, setting the tone and vibes.. It wasn't crowded, plenty of seating, private parking lot.. One of my favorite breakfast spots in the city.
The Ambiance was nice, clean looking- this breakfast spot clearly services all walks of life.. I saw business people stopping to eat before getting their day started also saw people having a business chat. This is good meaning the music wasn't too loud where you can't hear each other talking.. The waitress BUBBLES was great! She was very attentive, I expressed how I found the business on Yelp traveling from another state. She made sure the food came out in a timely manner and was delivered hot! The Cheddar Biscuit was soooo good and the potatoes- the only thing was the fried green tomatoes were a bit too salty. Everything else was excellent- Thanks Chef. I would definitely revisit when I come back to the A!!
In town from NJ and looked for some authentic Chicken and grits. I ordered the Buttermilk Chicken and biscuit and it was outstanding! The grits were terrific, did not need to add a thing to them! Service was fast polite! Overall cleanliness and faculty were top notch.
Delicious Food! I visited this restaurant for breakfast and the food was great. I had the chicken biscuit with scrambled eggs with cheese and cheese grits. The biscuit was a bit crunchy and the chicken was seasoned just right. I enjoyed my meal and will certainly visit again. The waitress was very attentive and recommended some great meals. She made sure our drinks were filled and smiled whenever she came to the table. Food - 10 Ambience - 9 Service -10
After landing from our 5:35 am flight, we found Buttermilk Biscuit from recommended reviews. The food here did not disappoint! This is hearty, delicious southern comfort food. Our server Nari was AMAZING too; very courteous and efficient. We felt welcome right when we walked through the door. I ordered the deviled eggs to share. They are so good, I wish I didn't have to! The bacon bits are the best part of the topping. I ordered the buttermilk chicken and biscuit. It comes with your preferred egg, a side, and a side of bread. The portions here are huge. My husband could barely finish his omelette. We loved the food and the people at Buttermilk Biscuit. What a great way to start our Atlanta trip!
After a failed attempt to go to an another restaurant, we stumbled on to this restaurant. The host was very nice and made sure that she had control of the restaurant and who was being seated. We showed up and we were able to grab a table immediately. The restaurant was full of people, but maybe we just had great timing and we were able to be seated immediately. I will say this is kind of a small space so the waiting area and host stand were outside. The food was pretty good. I'm assuming the biscuit is the staple of the restaurant because of the name and just general vibes. I got the regular biscuit, I think there was honey. It was very good. The catfish was very good also. And the grits were delicious. If I were to come back, I would definitely get this. And then I would try to expand my Options, but this was a great first visit.
Take out is always a hit or miss. You just never know what you're going to get, even from a restaurant with good reviews. I placed an order through the Yelp app requesting ASAP pickup. My meal was ready as soon as I arrived in the parking lot, approx. 20 minutes from the time the order was placed. This is a plaza with a few businesses, and there were very few available parking spots close to the restaurant, so I parked right in front since I was picking up an order. Friendly service from the hostess and person at the register located next to the bar. If you're picking up an order, walk directly to the cash register at the bar and provide your name. The restaurant was packed on a Thursday late morning, which was a good sign. Food was still warm when I arrived home, and nothing had to be reheated. Food was packaged with care, and sauces and butter were put in individual containers. The presentation was 5 stars. I had the omelet with a biscuit for breakfast. The order was supposed to come with potatoes, but they forgot them. It was not in the order. One way to prevent this is to show the customer each container before it's placed in the bag. It's not a fun experience getting home and realizing something is missing. Everything tasted fresh, although I did add some spicy salsa on top of the omelet for a little more flavor. The biscuit was SO Good...yummy and soft, and that peach jam took it to the next level. If the to go order was that good, I'm sure the dine-in experience is much better. I definitely plan on returning and trying some more items from their menu. Garden Harvest Omelet with potatoes and a biscuit $14
My husband and I came here and it was delicious We had the deviled eggs as a starter, which were just okay. Tasty enough but I wouldn't rush to get it again. My husband got fish and grits and he said it was delicious! I had the meat lovers omelette and it was delicious. Flavors were amazing and the portions were plentiful (I had enough for a whole Second Meal via leftovers). We were too early to have a mimosa or a drink, but I'll be back to try! Parking is easy--right in the large open parking lot.
